As you can tell, there hasn't
been much in the news department. Like any new church we have
been facing challenges such as finding a location for public
services that will allow for the creative and artistic
expression that we seek to have in our gatherings.
Although we don't have a place that we can call HOME for our
Sunday gatherings, we continue to experience growth and a
positive direction in our Youth Group. For all practical
purposes, the youth group IS Mosaic Healdsburg, right now and we
hope for it to continue to be.
We continue to offer a VERY INFORMAL worship service in our home
on Sunday Mornings. Since this is a small gathering, please call
before just showing up, as we have, on occasion, moved it to the
coast! :)
We continue to focus on the fact that having and building
relationships with those outside of the church are a higher
priority than having a regular Sunday morning meeting at this
time.

Well, a lot has been happening
sine the last time I wrote. "The Gathering" has become a member
of the MOSAIC ALLIANCE and has changed it's name. In December we
began meeting on the 2nd and 4th Saturday nights, but this just
didn't work out as well as we thought it might. We are now
SERIOUSLY in need of a weekend meeting location. Please pray for
us.
On the YOUTH GROUP FRONT, in Mid-February, we had an info
meeting with some high school age youth in our community at
Round Table Pizza. 15 young people came out to check out what we
were up to. We just returned from a Teen-Mania event
called BATTLECRY which was held at ATT Park in San Francisco. We
had 9 Youth and 3 Leaders attend, however we met up with another
4 people down there who will most likely be a part of our group.
We're excited to see Young People excited about a Youth Group in
our community.
We'll try to keep more information coming at you, so check back
when you can.

Today we met for worship and
made some decisions for the future. Beginning in January we will
move our gathering time from 10:00am on Sunday mornings to
7:00pm on Saturday nights.
We continue to look for a public meeting location and hope to
find a place by the end of January. Our goal is to find
shared space for now and perhaps locate a warehouse to convert
into a worship center by the summer of 2007. Everything is
still in the vision stage and we are confident that God will
direct us in the right direction when the time comes.
